To become a Bar Association member of Kodiak Teen Court, you need to take the Teen Court Law Class, and pass the Bar Exam. Upon completion of the class and passing of the Bar Exam, you will receive half (1/2) a High School Social Studies Credit. You can receive up to one more half (1/2) a credit additional elective credit for the your first 90 hours volunteered over the course of 5 years (assuming you start in 8th grade) for time actively participating in Kodiak Teen Court.
You can accumulate volunteer hours by working and attending Teen Court cases, as well as attending regularly scheduled meetings and training, known as C.L.E. (continuing legal education) hours.
